Over 20 years of full-stack open-source Linux networking expertise.
Mobile/WWAN Kubernetes Wi-Fi SDN
I maintain and develop standard mobile networking tools available in all major Linux distributions:
- ModemManager is a system daemon providing a unified API for controlling many different 2G/3G/4G/5G modems
- libqmi is a library which provides C-based access to modems that implement the Qualcomm MSM Interface (QMI) protocol
- libmbim is a library which provides C-based access to modems that implement the Mobile Broadband Interface Model (MBIM) protocol
I have significant expertise in and was previously maintainer of:
- NetworkManager is a system daemon providing a unified API and configuration for network devices including Wi-Fi, WWAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Infiniband, and more
- Libertas driver is a Linux kernel Wi-Fi driver for Marvell Libertas Full-MAC devices, maintained as part of my work on the One Laptop Per Child project
- Kubernetes is system for automating deployment and management of containers
- ovn-kubernetes is Kubernetes network plugin based on the Open Virtual Network (OVN) and Open vSwitch (OVS) projects
